In addition to the Data Protection Notice available on app.proprix.ch (the "Platform"), we provide below further information on cookies and tracking tools.

This information does not apply to websites other than app.proprix.ch, nor to any third-party services that may be integrated into the Platform, nor to individual landings (i.e. landing pages associated with the Platform but operated by third parties other than PropriX). For information on processing carried out on other websites or by third parties, please refer to the relevant notices.

The controller – i.e. the party that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data collected via the Platform – is PropriX AG, registered office at Dorfstrasse 58 – 6332 Hagendorn (CH), registered with the Commercial Register under CH-170.3.050.072-0, UID/VAT CHE-415.373.009 (also referred to as "we" or the "Controller").

Privacy legislation grants certain rights, which are explained in more detail in the Data Protection Notice or can be consulted in full in particular in Articles 25 et seq. of the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR (e.g. access, rectification, objection, restriction, erasure, data portability, the right not to be subject to automated processing, withdrawal, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority – in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)).

What Are Cookies

Cookies are information files that the browser automatically saves on the hard drive of the device used when browsing a website and allow information to be collected on browsing activity. Depending on user preferences, cookies are stored by the relevant browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone). Similar technologies (e.g. transparent GIFs) and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5 can also be used to collect information on user behaviour and service usage. For this reason, below we use the term "cookie" to refer to cookies and all similar technologies.

Cookies are referred to as "first-party" when they are set by the website the user is visiting, and as "third-party" when they are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. The Platform uses first-party cookies only.

The lifespan of cookies may be limited to a browsing session or extend for a longer period, even after the user has left the website. Such cookies are referred to as persistent cookies and their lifespan is set by the server when created. In some cases an expiry is set, in others the duration is unlimited. Cookies can be disabled, removed or blocked via browser settings or, where available, the DoNotTrack option. If cookies are disabled, the Controller cannot guarantee full functionality of the website.

The Controller does not require the user's consent to install strictly technical cookies, which are set automatically when accessing the Platform. Users may nevertheless block or remove technical cookies by changing their browser settings. In such case, it may no longer be possible to access certain areas of the website or use some of the services offered.

All cookies other than technical cookies may only be installed or activated following the user's explicit consent.
